Fasten the shield clamp
10. If the Schoolmeterbox is in the middle of the RS485 bus, carry out the following steps:
– Push the clamp onto the shieldings of both cables.
☑ The Schoolmeterbox is connected to the RS485 bus.
5.3 Terminating the RS485 Bus
Terminating the Schoolmeterbox
The Schoolmeterbox must only be terminated when it is
placed at the end of the RS485 bus.
1. Introduce the resistor included in the delivery in the
4-pole plug, in pins 2 and 7.
2. Introduce the plug in the free terminal for the
RS485 in the Schoolmeterbox.
☑ The Schoolmeterbox has been terminated.
