lateral belts
The angle between the thighs and torso is adjusted with the Side Belts. This angle is
normally around 90° or beyond. If the belts are tightened, you sit more upright and vice
versa. We recommend an upright sitting position to all pilots.
leg belts
The Leg Belt length should be adjusted so that you can walk unobstructed. It is impor-
tant that the adjustment is carried out symmetrically.
chest belt
The adjustment of the Chest Belt determines the distance of the carabiners to one an-
other and influences the handling and stability of the glider. More distance between car-
abiners increases feedback from the glider and makes steering with weight shift easier.
We recommend a carabiner distance of approximately 44 cm. The Chest Belt can also
be adjusted during flight according to conditions, e.g. in weaker thermals more dis-
tance and stronger thermals, closer.
Speed System
In the harness simulator, the length of the speed system lines can be adjusted. Normal-
ly, these are adjusted in such a way that the connecting links (Speed System Hooks)
to the speed system of the paraglider lie closely to the left and right rollers when your
legs are fully stretched. However it must be ensured that the lines of the speed sys-
tem are long enough and the paraglider is not pre-accelerated in the neutral position.
It is better to adjust the speed system a bit too long at first and then shorten it little by
little. Only accelerate during flight when you have sufficient altitude and in calm condi-
tions.
