Installation/Mounting Notes

WARNING: Use at least two people when transporting the TV.

 

Tools Needed: Phillips screwdriver 
Supplied -  
 

(4 qty.) Additional #8-32 Phillips Head Screws (figure 1) 

 

(4 qty. ) Speakerbar Mounting Brackets (figure 2) 

  

1.  Remove (4 qty.) #8-32 (pre-installed) screws located on the top back of the SkyVue TV.  Figure 3.

2.  Position the Speakerbar mounting brackets (Figure 2) as shown in (Figure 4) below. 

Secure mounting brackets with the same (4) #8-32 screws that were removed in step 1. 

3.  Screw securely 

4.  With mounting brackets securly attached to back of television: Position speakerbar as shown in Figure 5. 

The sound will be projected in a downward direction. 

5.  Using the 4 additional #8-32 Phillips Head screws, align the screw holes on the speakerbar mount with the 

holes on the speakerbar mounting bracket.

6.  Screw securely.

7.  Loosen the 3 latches, and open the Component Cover. 

8.   Take the Speaker Cable from the speaker, making sure 

that the Speaker Cable Wire is placed on the Rubber 
Sealing Gasket, and plug it into the Speakerbar  
L/R Audio Out Ports.

9.   When you close the Component Cover, be sure that 

the Speaker Cable Wire is placed across the Rubber 
Sealing Gasket. As with all wires entering the connec-
tion compartment, leave a drip loop as the wire enters 
the TV, this will allow water to drip from the bottom of 
the loop.
