In order to properly utilize and fully appreciate the SKYTRON Split Leg Section be sure to follow these
instructions carefully. Initial use should not begin until after the users have been instructed by the manu-
facturers representative. Familiarize yourself with the product illustration prior to proceeding.
As with any unfamiliar patient positioning device, you should always practice its use on a nurse, physician
or other appropriate volunteer prior to using it clinically.

WARNING
To prevent failure of the Split Leg do not
exceed 400 lb. patient weight limit.
WARNING
Do not use Split Leg in reverse Trendelen-
burg position without additional patient
restraint such as thigh straps.
CAUTION
Split Leg Section should be attached
by at least two trained operators, one to
support the patient and one to position
the Split Leg Section.
CAUTION
If it is necessary to reposition the Split
Leg Section, one operator should always
support the patient's leg until the Split
Leg Section is securely locked in the
new position.
