PLEASE NOTE: Scrolling tower means the clock is searching. Solid tower means the clock
did not catch the signal. Solid tower with WAVE OK means your clock has caught the signal
in the last 24 hrs.
Daylight Saving Time
If you live in an area that does observe DST, place the DST switch into the ON position. The
Letters DST will appear on the display next to the Atomic Signal ICON confirming you are
in the Daylight Saving Time mode. The clock will now adjust automatically each spring and
fall to correct for the 1-hour time change.
If you live in an area that DOES NOT observe Daylight Saving Time (DST), slide the DST
switch on the back of the clock to the OFF position to deactivate the DST function.
To enhance the Radio Signal Reception
Do not place the clock too close to household appliances such as Televisions, computers,
speakers, VCR’s and Fax Machines.
Do not place on top of or close to metal surfaces.
Do not place in a metal or concrete building unless close to a window with the curtains or
other window treatment open.
Do not use inside of a moving vehicle.
NOTE: RADIO SIGNAL RECEPTION MAY BE BLOCKED BY

Freeways and Airports
Construction Sites
Traffic Lights
Neon Lights

Setting the Calendar
Slide the SELECTOR BAR to the CALENDAR SET position. The main display will switch
to the year and will flash.
Using a pen or sharp in instrument, press the YEAR/12/24/SEC button to advance to the
correct year.
Press the MONTH/HR button to advance to the correct month.
Press the DATE/MIN button to advance to the correct set date.
The Day display will adjust automatically. If the day displayed is not correct, check to see
you are in the correct YEAR.
When finished, place the SELECTOR BAR in the LOCK position.
