Step 4: Aligning the Satellite Antenna

The sat antenna can be aligned using the SAT FINDER or the receiver‘s software menu . We recommend antenna

alignment via the sat finder. Connect the sat finder to the LNB and the receiver supply line according to the sat

finder‘s operating instructions.

Slowly move the antenna eastwards/westwards while continuously monitoring the signal strength display (tone

pitch). Tighten the clamp bolts once the maximum signal level has been reached, thus restricting lateral antenna

movement.

Optimise the antenna‘s elevation angle by moving it up or down until the maximum signal level is displayed. Since

the sat finder displays a signal for each and every satellite, please use the sat receiver to check whether the

located satellite is really the right one. Subsequently tighten the clamp bolts without changing the settings.
