Mount the duct unit so that the pins (A) on the lower duct
are lengthwise and transversely in the house and not 45°
to the side, as the bell mouth and swivel shutter can oth-
erwise not be mounted correctly.
Mount the roofing sheet for the roof duct with 6 6x23mm
screws. The screws must be screwed into the rib (B) in
the roof duct as shown in the drawing.
3.16 Mounting storm protection kit on roof duct
Always mount storm protection if more than two ducts are mounted above the roofing sheet.
1. Drill four Ø8.5 mm holes between ribs in the roof duct. Mount eye screws and washers on the outside.
Mount large and small washers on the inside, then mount the self-locking nut and shackle.
2. Mount four wires with turnbuckle and wire lock at both ends.
3. Mount the turnbuckle onto the roof construction using the shackle, bracket and roofing nail, so that the angle
between the duct and anchor point is approx 45°.
4. Add extra reinforcement below the roofing sheet.
