HOSE/ SLEEVE DISASSEMBLY AND
ASSEMBLY
The hose and sleeve are provided
assembled on the tool.
To disassemble the sleeve and the hose:
Open the Velcro strap on the end of the hose
away from the saw. Unzip the zipper and
remove the sleeve. Remove the hose by
pulling the cuff from the vacuum port.
To assemble the sleeve around the hose and
power cord: Lay down unzipped sleeve on
the flat surface, inside of the sleeve facing
up. Slide the cuff off the vacuum hose onto
vacuum port. Straighten the hose and power
cord along the top of the sleeve. Position the
near end of the sleeve about 5 inches from
the handle of the circular saw. Wrap the
sleeve around the cord and the hose and
fasten the zipper. Fasten two Velcro strips on
each end of the sleeve.
SHOP VACUUM ADAPTER ASSEMBLY
Provided are two adapters to connect the
provided vacuum hose, attached to the saw,
with the vacuum hose of your shop vacuum.
Use the adapter that better fits your shop
vacuum.
1. Insert the smaller end of one of the
adapters into the cuff of the provided
vacuum hose attached to the saw
2. Insert the shop vacuum hose into the
larger end of the adapter
Note:
The adapters will fit some, but not all
shop vacuum hoses available on the market.
Vacuum hose sizes are often referred as 1.5”
and 2.5” nominally. In reality, due to the lack
of standardization, the actual dimensions of
the ends of vacuum hoses vary greatly.
The actual dimensions of the inside diameter
of provided adapters are: 1.75” for the small
adapter and 2.25” for the large adapter.
Please check your shop vacuum hose size
for fit.
Never operate the saw
without the vacuum hose
attached to a vacuum rated at least 30CFM
using HEPA filter.
Using tool without the
proper vacuum may cause serious respiratory
and other personal injuries.
