MAINTENANCE
WARNING
To avoid serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack
from the tool when cleaning or performing any maintenance .
Service
WARNING
Preventive maintenance performed by unauthorized personnel may
result in misplacing of internal wires and components which could
cause serious hazard .
We recommend that all tool service be performed by a SKIL Factory
Service Center or Authorized SKIL Service Station.
General Maintenance
WARNING
When servicing, use only identical replacement parts . Use of any
other parts could create a hazard or cause product damage .
Cleaning
WARNING
Always use only a soft, dry cloth to clean the Bluetooth speaker. Never use
detergent or alcohol. Clean dust and debris from vents. Keep the speaker
handle clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Never use flammable or combustible solvents
around tools.
WARNING
Certain cleaning agents and solvents damage plastic parts .
Some of
these are: gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents,
ammonia and household detergents that contain ammonia.
Storage
Store the tool indoors in a place that is inaccessible to children. Keep away from corrosive
agents.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Cause
Remedy
The Bluetooth speaker
does not work.
Low battery capacity.
Charge the battery.
Bluetooth speaker is not
charging USB device.
The device draws more than
the rated output of the port.
Remove the device and turn
the Bluetooth speaker on again.
Use only 5V DC devices that
draw no more than 2.1 Amp
Bluetooth speaker is not
properly paired with audio
device.
1. Out of Bluetooth pairing
range.
2. The speaker is connected
to the audio wire.
3. Incorrect pairing operation
1. Move your device or speaker
within 30 feet connecting
range.
2. Unplug the wire and connect
the speaker by Bluetooth.
3. Refer to Connecting to
Bluetooth and correctly
pair the audio device to the
speaker.
