Adjusting the Foot Bevel Angle
(Fig. 6)
Your tool is equipped with quick-reference
detent stops. The foot can be adjusted and
locked to cut angles at 0°, ±15°, ±30° and ±45°.
Depress the lock-off button to the locked
position, and then remove the battery pack
from the tool.
To adjust the foot:
a. Lift the foot-adjustment lever located beneath
the housing.
b. Move the foot slightly forward to disengage
the locking tab.
c. Position the foot to the desired angle
(0°, ±15°, ±30° or ±45°).
d. Push the foot backward to engage the locking tab and retighten the foot-adjustment lever to
maintain the adjustment.
After adjusting the foot, make a sample cut to check the angle.
Dust-Blowing Slide Switch (Fig. 7)
Your tool is equipped with the dust-blowing
function to blow away the dust while cutting for
better visibility.
To blow the sawdust, turn the switch to the
position
.
To turn off the blowing function, turn the switch
to the position
.
