10. Cleaning

Note
The oil filter should be checked and
if necessary cleaned at least 1x per
year.
• To drain the oil located in the filter hous-
ing, attach an oil discharge tank below the
filter housing. The distance to the oil filter
housing must be large enough for the
filter housing to be loosened and the filter
removed.
Note
Observe the regulations for disposal
of lubricants.
• Loosen and unscrew the filter housing
(
8
) (hexagon screw) (WAF 13) by turning
counterclockwise.

• Remove the strainer insert (

with suitable, permitted cleaning agents
or replace it.
• Also clean the filter housing.
• Blow out the strainer insert (

) using
compressed air and then insert it into the
filter housing.
• Tighten the filter housing (

) with a tight-
ening torque of max. 20 Nm.
