6. Commissioning
6.1 Commissioning
The prelubrication distributor of product series
VR is delivered in an operational state and
can be used immediately following proper
installation. Ensure that the distributor and its
connections are properly sealed.
Observe the instructions from the ma-
chine manufacturer regarding the
lubricants that are to be used.
Warning!
Only fill using clean lubricant. Contami-
nated lubricants can result in
severe system malfunction.
6.2 Recommissioning
When recommissioning the machine/system
after a long period of downtime with the pre-
lubrication distributor removed, proceed as
follows:
Before installing the prelubrication distribu-
tor, anti-corrosion agents must be cleaned
from bare metal surfaces, especially as-
sembly surfaces.
Install the prelubrication distributor of
product series VR as instructed in section 4.4
