Keep the packaging material away from
children and animals.

Danger of Burns from Battery Acid!
Batteries can be deadly if
swallowed. Keep batteries and articles out of the reach of children
and animals. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance
immediately.

Danger of Burns from Battery Acid!
If a battery leaks, avoid physical
contact with the battery acid. Wear protective gloves if necessary. If
you touch battery acid, rinse the affected area with abundant fresh
water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

Do not use the articles in rooms with elevated humidity, e.g.
bathrooms.
•
Use only the battery type specifi ed in the “Technical Data”.
•
Take batteries out of the articles when they are dead or if the articles
are not going to be used for a prolonged period. This will prevent
any damage if a battery leaks.

Immediately remove a leaking battery and clean the contacts before
inserting new batteries.
•
Protect the articles from: impacts, heat, direct sunlight, subzero
temperatures, moisture and wet conditions.
•
Do not make any changes to the articles and do not attempt to repair
them. In the event of any damage, please contact our customer
service department.

Under no circumstances should you use any corrosive or abrasive
cleaning agents, rough sponges or knives to clean the articles.
These could damage the surfaces.

Inserting / Changing Batteries
Insert three 1.5 V batteries, AAA type into the battery
compartment of each lamp before you fi rst use it.
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts are
clean and clean them if necessary.
1.
Open the battery compartment on the side of the light by pushing
the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert three 1.5 V batteries of the AAA type into the battery
compartment. Ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
3. Reattach the battery compartment cover and push it close. You
must hear and feel it engage.
Replace the batteries when the power of the lamp starts to wane.
PLEASE NOTE
! Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries
of different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
Putting Into Operation
1.
Unpack
– Check the items supplied for possible transport damage.
If you fi nd any damage to the lamp, do not use it (!), but contact our
customer service department.
2. Insert batteries
– Insert batteries into the articles (see the “Inserting
/ Changing the Battery” section).
3. Hang on
– Place a light by hanging the cord on the desired place.
4. Switch on / off
– Pull a light down to turn it
on

Cleaning and Storage
1.
Take the batteries out of the articles (see the “Inserting / Changing
the Battery” section).
2. Clean the articles with a soft and damp cloth and a little mild
detergent if necessary.
3. Thoroughly dry the articles before it is stored away.
4. Store the articles in a dry place that is protected from sunlight and
is not accessible to children and animals.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the articles in an environmentally friendly manner
at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic devices.
They should not be disposed of in the normal household waste.
Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the articles
and disposed of separately from the articles. To protect the
environment, batteries may not be disposed of with normal
household waste, but must be taken to suitable collection
points.
