By Searching Through Library
If you cannot identify a correct Device Code for your equipment from the
Device Code List, you may search the code through the library:
1. Turn on your device manually. (e.g. TV)
2. Select a desired Device Mode. (e.g. TV, if you want to set up your URC to
operate your TV)
3. Press and Hold the key followed by the desired Device Mode key
(e.g. ), the LED indicator will light up.
4. Release both keys.
5. Press key once again and the LED should flash. (Your URC is now
ready to start searching)
6. Aim your URC at your device (e.g. TV), press the “ ” key repeatedly,
slowly and patiently until the device has been turned off.
7. Once your device has been turned off, press the corresponding Device
Mode key (e.g. ) to lock in the code and the indicator should go
out.
(Turn on your device again (e.g. TV), try the function keys on the URC. If your
device (e.g. TV) responds to your invoked function correctly, your URC has
found the right code. Otherwise, repeat the above set up instructions for the
right code, and until your device (e.g. TV) responds to your invoked function
and most keys work correctly.)
** Simply repeat the above procedures to find the codes for your VCR, DVD,
DVD-R, SAT, STB or AMP. (Remember to press a correct Device Mode Key
in Step 3 above.)

Remarks:
– If the entered code is not correct, the LED indicator will flash TWICE
and keep light on. You have to enter the correct 4-digit code again.
– Your URC will quit the set up mode automatically after 10 seconds of
idle period.
– If you want to quit the set up mode during the set up procedures,
simply press the corresponding Device Mode Key.
– If you cannot find a correct Device Code for your equipment, see
“HOW TO SET UP THE URC – By Searching Through Library” section
** Simply repeat the above procedures to enter the Device Codes for your
VCR, SAT, CTV, STB, DVD or AMP. (Remember to press a correct Device
Mode Key in Step 3 above.)

Note :
– Each time you press “ ” key, your URC will skip to the next code
and send out a POWER signal trying to turn off your device.
– If you failed to stop pressing “ ” in time when your device has
been turned off, turn on your device again immediately before the
indicator of your URC goes out. Press key on the URC to
skip backward. Repeat the step 7 above and lock in the code.
