Operating Warnings: 

• AVOID EYE INJURY - Do not stare directly into beam or shine it directly into anyone's face.  Doing so could cause 

retinal damage.   

• The aluminum head on LightBob™ (fig 5 below) may accumulate a significant amount of heat during 

operation on High setting.  Caution is advised when interacting with the light. 

• Do not twist or attempt to twist the light head or the telescoping tubes.  Doing so will damage LightBob™. 

• Do not operate the product with packing materials still attached. Discard and recycle packing materials, including 

covers and box. 

• When operating the product give it at least 10 inches of free space on all sides. 

• Do not place cloth, paper, bags, or other materials on any part of the product when it is in use. 

• Do not mount or place near gas, flammable liquids, or any other materials that can ignite or explode. 

• Use in a dry and safe location. Our products are meant for indoor and dry locations only. 

• Before using LightBob™ inspect it carefully. Product can become damaged in shipping. Contact us if you have any of 

the following signs of a defective product: cuts or damage to electrical cord, damage to light head, or signs of damage 

on any part of the product. 

Battery Warnings: 

WARNINGS: 

Any battery may leak harmful chemicals which may damage skin, clothing, or the inside of the light. TO 

AVOID RISK OF INJURY, DO NOT LET ANY MATERIAL LEAKED FROM A BATTERY COME IN CONTACT 

WITH EYES OR SKIN. Any battery may rupture or explode if put in a fire or otherwise exposed to excessive heat. TO 

AVOID RISK OF INJURY, DO NOT EXPOSE BATTERIES TO EXCESSIVE HEAT. To reduce the risk of personal 

injury or harm to your light, take the following precautions: • 

Use only alkaline batteries from a reputable 

manufacturer. 

• Do not use different brands of batteries in the same light. • When replacing batteries, always replace 

the whole set. • 

Do not use rechargeable or reuseable alkaline batteries. 

• Do not try to recharge batteries that are not 

specifically designed to be recharged. • Always install batteries with the “+” end facing the removable cap of the light 

and the “-” end facing the top of the light. • Do not allow children to install batteries unsupervised. • Follow battery 

manufacturer’s instructions as to proper handling, storage and disposal of batteries. • Do not allow children to install or 

tamper with the lamp. • Protect the lamp from bending or twisting. • Not recommended for use by children under 

thirteen years of age.  

Telescoping Neck: 

• LightBob™ can be raised or lowered depending on your use. 
• To raise the head on LightBob™ simply hold on to the aluminum 

connector between the two tubes and gently pull on the head.  Note that 
there are travel limits on both raising and lower the light head.  Do not 
force the light above or below these limits. 

Articulating Head:

 

 

• The head has 90˚ of total movement to accurately put light where you 

need it. 

• Simply hold the light head and tilt as needed.
