14. STATUS
STATUS LED is always on if the device is ON and shows the status of the BYPASS
switch and battery level/battery charging.
If the device is in bypass mode, the LED is green, if the device is not in bypass
mode, the LED is blue.
If the battery is low on charge, the LED blinks red briefly every 4 seconds and if
the battery is charging, the LED blinks red longer every 4 seconds.
15. AUDIO IN (audio input) jack
AUDIO IN jack is intended to be the main instrument signal input. Its very high
input impedance of 1 Mega ohm is perfectly suitable for electric guitars and other
high impedance audio sources. This helps to preserve the tone of the instrument
and doesn’t load the pickups on guitars and therefore doesn’t affect the guitar's
tone. This effects processor always uses this input buffer, whether it is in bypass
mode or not. Maximum input voltage swing is 5 volts peak to peak.
This is a 6.3mm mono banana jack and doesn't have any other contacts like
automatic ON/OFF.
16. AUDIO OUT (audio output) jack
AUDIO OUT jack is intended to output the processed or bypassed signal to other
effects processors or a guitar amplifier. Its low output impedance of 100 ohms
ensures that it will drive long cables without any losses in audio quality.
This is a 6.3mm mono banana jack. Maximum input voltage swing is 5 volts peak
to peak.
17. AUX IN (auxiliary audio input) jack
AUX IN is used to connect an external stereo audio source. This audio source can
be a computer, MP3/CD player, cassette player, mobile phone or any other line
level equivalent player. The stereo signal is internally mixed to form JOINT STEREO
MONO audio.
Volume of this input is controlled by the audio source itself. If the volume is too
low, increase the volume of the player and if it is too loud, decrease the volume of
the audio player. Volume of this audio path is affected by changing the overall
OUT VOL. setting. The IN CLIP does not react to this audio path but OUT CLIP
does.
This is a 3.5mm stereo banana jack.
