LED INDICATORS
a.
SYNC :
Green LED illuminates when the local data demux is in sync with the received optical signal.
This LED is disabled at the transmit end of a SIMPLEX link (mated to the HS port of a SIMPLEX fiber
optic transmitter with S1-7 ON and S1-8 OFF).
b.
LOOP:
Green LED illuminates when the remote data demux is in sync with the received optical signal
transmitted by the local unit. This LED will always be OFF when operated in SIMPLEX mode (S1-7 or
S1-88 is ON).
c.
PWR:
Green LED illuminates when when power is applied to the card.
d.
NOT SYNC:
Red LED illuminates when the local demux is
not
in sync with the incoming received
optical signal. This LED will always be disabled when operating as a SIMPLEX transmiter and the
dipswitch S1-7 is ON and S1-8 is OFF.

HS DATA PORT
This RJ45 port is the physical interface for the high speed composite data and clock signals that travel
between the 9961A-C and the HS port of the fiber optic multiplexer via Category 5 twisted pair cable.
