This SIP belt disc sander is covered by a 24 month parts and labour warranty covering
failure due to manufacturers defects. This does not cover failure due to misuse or op-
erating the machine outside the scope of this manual.
In the unlikely event of warranty claims, contact your distributor as soon as possible.

Remove the belt cover which is secured by 3 x cross head screws.
Using a 12 mm spanner loosen (do not remove) the four bolts shown in diagram.
This allows the belt assembly to drop sufficiently to remove the old belt and replace
with a new one. Once the new belt is fitted lift the assembly as high as possible and
tighten the four bolts up using the 12 mm spanner.
Check the belt tension by placing fingers on either side of the belt and squeeze. Cor-
rect tension will allow approximately 6 mm deflection in the belt.
Replace the belt cover.
