Upstream centrifugal
heaters should be mounted on the inlet side of the centrifugal fan using the
bracket kit (S187794), sold separately.
See page 44
for assembly instructions for use of bracket kit.
When using a high-temp heater in an upstream centrifugal configuration, never burn heater above 200
degrees (F). Higher temperatures could damage centrifugal fan wheel, and void warranty.

CAUTION: After mounting the heater, the airflow arrow decals on the heater should be pointing in the
direction of the airflow.
Mounting Transition High Limit
Once heater has been installed, mount transition
high limit. Cut 1-1/16” hole in top of transition
that is centered for high limit (see Figure AA).
Locate transition high limit connected to heater
by a 12’-0” cord. Take note of the thermos disk
protruding from mount box. Disk goes into hole
newly cut into transition. Remove backing plate
on high limit mount box, caulk around hole and
set disk in hole. Self-drill to transition, and replace
cover.
Mounting Control System
Once heater and transition high limit have been installed; follow instruction for which control system you
have purchased from the respected manuals included; automatic thermostat (pages 22-25), high-low fire
thermostat (pages 26-29), or modulating gas valve (pages 30-32).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: To maintain grain quality and avoid risk of bin fire, drying temperature should not exceed
130 degrees (F) for in-bin stir drying of corn, or 180 degrees (F) for in-bin continuous flow systems,
Lower temperature may be required depending upon drying conditions.
Keep area beneath perforated floor clean of all fines and foreign material, and check routinely.
Heater Starting Procedure
While it’s best to follow starting procedures included on each model, based on the various types of
controls, the following are the basics. Setting of the controls should be in conjunction with the following:
1.
Always start fan first; checking to be sure heaters 115 volt power supply is interlocked with fan.
2.
Open all fuel sources from tank to heater. Start heater by moving switch to the “on” position on front
of heater control panel. A 45 second delay will occur, as fan purges the heater of any fuel vapors.
