SU-6 USB Audio Bridge Quick Start Handbook
1. After getting the machine, please check whether the appearance of the machine is complete
and the accessories are complete.
2. The standard Ming Wei power adapter supports global voltage, the input voltage range is 85 ~
264VAC; the power plug is DC2.1, inside positive and outside negative; insert the SU-6 power
plug, the SU-6 rear panel plug above the power light is on as a result, the internal super capacitor
starts to charge, charging takes about one minute, and the power light on the front panel lights
up;
3. Plug in the USB cable and connect to a computer or digital player. USB requires a 5V power
supply.
4. WINDOWS system needs to install the driver we provide, the latest version of WIN10 can be
used free of driver, but it is recommended to use the driver we provide; Linux and MAC comes
with a driver, no need to install a separate driver;
5. After the computer or digital player recognizes the SU-6, set the player and select SU-6 as the
output device;
Click to play, the SU-6's PLAY light is on;
6. The DSD light will only illuminate when the DSD is played. Most players are set correctly to play
the DSD.
If the DSD light is off, most of the cases are DSD playback settings; please refer to our other
documentation for the setup procedure;
7. The front panel of the SU-6 is an LED status display with no touch function;
8. It takes about 1 minute to power on and about 1 minute to shut down. This is because the
SU-6 has a built-in super capacitor. It takes time to charge and discharge. The SU-6 does not have
a power switch. The SU-6 has low power consumption and can be used for a long time. The SU-6
power plug supports hot swap.
9. If the SU-6 needs to connect to other power sources, it needs a DC power supply voltage of
7.5V-9V, a current of at least 2A, preferably 7.5V 3A.
10. The SU-6 can be used normally for 1 minute. The super capacitor is fully charged for 20
minutes. The internal thermostat is basically stable for 20 minutes and completely stable for 1
hour.
11. The two HDMI sockets of the SU-6 are I2S interfaces. They are not universal HDMI. They
cannot be connected to monitors, TVs and computers. HDMI-I2S must be configured after the
line sequence and then connected to other devices.
