How much assembly is required?
Assembly is extremely simple requiring only the following steps.
1. Insert and tighten front wheel.
2. Attach handlebars and tighten stem.
3. Insert and tighten seatpost.
4. Install pedals
How much maintenance is required?
Due to the single speed design, maintenance is simple. The major components
requiring maintenance are the chain and tires. Mechanical components that can be
serviced or replaced at any quality bike shop. The electrical components are war-
ranted and are easily swappable in the unlikely event that you have any issues.
How many cycles will the battery last?
The Lithium-Ion battery included with your e-bike is comprised of high quality
Samsung 18650 cells wich are rated to last more than 800 cycles. Aggressive riding
and improper storage can lead to shorter lifespans. A full cycle is considered one
complete discharge, so if you only discharge the battery halfway before recharging
normally, your battery will provide twice as many charge cycles before
degenerating.
Does it work in the rain?
The components are all water resistant and work very well in wet conditions but
you should take care to keep your bike parked indoors whenever possible and in a
dry location when in storage.
Can the bike be picked up in Los Angeles to save shipping costs?
Yes, the bike can be picked up in our Santa Monica shop M-F 9-5.
