WINDING THE BOBBIN

5. Pass the thread clockwise around the bobbin

winder tension disc, as illustrated. Make sure

the thread is under the disc securely.

6. Place the thread end through one of the inner

holes in the bobbin as illustrated.

Align the groove (a) in the bobbin with the spring

(b) on the bobbin winder shaft, and then place

the empty bobbin on the bobbin winder shaft.
