Disposal of old Electrical & Electronic Equipment (Applicable in the European Union and
other European countries with separate collection systems).
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product shall not
be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring
this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative conse-
quences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused
by inappropriate waste handling ofthis product. The recycling of materials will help

USE
• Connect the power supply, press the “ON/OFF” switch to turn it on, the indicator light will il-
luminate. Allow the appliance to warm up, after approximately 2 minutes of warming up the
appliance will be ready for use.
• For a complete styling, the hair should be clean, dry and free from dirt, hair spray, creams,
etc. (Of course, this hair straightener can always be used for quick touch-ups and rescues any
time). Hair should be divided into several parts and operate part by part and by even pulling
the hair downwards. Comb through this section to smooth out any snarls. Hold ends taut with
one hand. Part off a section of hair to be straightened, starting at the back neck area towards
the crown. Move along the sides and
fi
nish at the front top area.
• Open the clamp and grip hair within one inch of scalp. Hold in place for about 5 to 10 seconds
for
fi
ne hair or 10 to 12 seconds for thick or coarse hair.
• Carefully, release pressure on the handles and let the hair slip out from the plates.
• Repeat the treatment until you have a satis
fi
ed result.
• Turn off the appliance and unplug.
• Allow the hair straightener to cool down.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe appli-
ance surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the unit.
STORAGE
• Unplug the appliance; allow cooling and storing in its box or in a dry place. Never store it while
it is hot or still plugged in.
• Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance.
• Never hang unit by the cord. Store the cord loosely coiled. Do not put any stress on the cord
where it enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.
