Machine baste (longest stitch length) seam at
5/8 of an inch. Press seam open and spread
garment flat wrong side up. Place zipper face
down on seam with coils directly on the seamline.
Hand baste zipper into place. Using zipper foot,
topstitch zipper from the right side beginning at
the bottom of zipper and working your way to the top.
Stitch up left side and then right side. For perfect
stitching, use 3/4 inch wide tape and tape it down the
center of the seam. You can use the tape as a
sewing guide.
