3.2 Brief Introduction to Principles
The air source water heater unit is designed based on the heat pump
principles. It consumes a part of electric energy as a supplement, and by using
the thermodynamic cycle, absorbs heat from the low-grade energy (air source)
environment, and transfers the heat to a condenser through a compressor, and
releases it to the water inside the water tank. In this way, the water is heated up.
The working principles of an air source water heater are the same as those
of a heat pump air conditioner. A heat pump air conditioner absorbs heat from the
natural environment and transfers it to the indoor air; however, the air source
water heater uses the absorbed heat to heat up domestic water. The air source
water heater is a novel, efficient, energy-saving, and environment-friendly heater
product.
