Furuno CIF is a proprietary datagram format created by Furuno (

http://www.furuno.jp

).

It is used to contain information about sea current. The original signal format is a 20
mA current loop, and it needs to be converted to RS-232.

Note

The datagram format described here remains the property of the organization that
defined it. If you need more information about this format, contact the owner.
