Hull unit description

The hull unit provided with the SC90 is designed to lower the transducer down below the
ship’s hull when the SC90 shall be used. When the SC90 is switched off, the transducer
is hoisted for protection.

The hull unit is designed to lower the transducer 1.0 or 2.1 meters below the ship’s
hull. Maximum vessel speed with the transducer fully lowered to 1 meter is 20 knots.
Maximum vessel speed with the transducer fully lowered to 2.1 meter is 19 knots.

Note

The SC90 Fish finding sonar can be provided with one of the following hull units.

•

SC90

- Lowering depth: 1 m, Transducer cable: 4.6 m

•

SC90

- Lowering depth: 1 m, Transducer cable: 10 m

•

SC94

- Lowering depth: 2.1 m, Transducer cable: 4.6 m

The same transducer is used on all hull unit types. Due to the different flange diameters,
different installation trunks are used.

•

SC90

- Upper diameter: 370 mm, Bottom diameter: 273 mm

•

SC94

- Upper diameter: 760 mm, Bottom diameter: 610 mm

•

SC94

- Upper diameter: 760 mm, Bottom diameter: 356 mm
