Display views
Single target histogram field
The Single Target Histogram field is normally located in the bottom left corner of the
channel view. To open the field, click on the grey border line and drag it sideways.
Description
The histogram plot shows a visualization
of the target strength (TS) distribution for
the single echoes detected in the
Echogram
field. The colours used to display this
information are determined from the
current target strength (TS) value and the
settings in the
Colour Scale
dialog box. The
statistics are based on the active layer and
the current calculation interval.
Tip
If you place the cursor inside the field, a
small yellow label will appear to give you
a detailed read-out of certain information.
The
Tooltip
dialog box defines which
information that will be shown.
If you press the right mouse button with
the cursor position within this field, a dedicated short-cut menu will appear.

Numerical field
The Numerical field is located on the right side of the channel view. To open the field,
click on the grey border line and drag it sideways.
Description
The Numerical field provides listing with all the various parameters
applicable for the current mode and operation. The following lists are
available:

Transducer
: Typical specifications for the active transducer
•
Transceiver
: Typical specifications for the transceiver
•
Environment
displays the current read-out from the active sensors and the noise
figures for the selected beam.
•
Layers
: Current parameters from the active layers
