The Custom Label is limited to 40 characters.  
It is recommended that the first characters be 
the point address, followed by the description 
of the point location and then lastly the zone 
number, as the Event log does not record the 
address or zone of the device.

Assigning Devices to Zones 

Once addressable devices have been entered into the configuration (refer Section 5.1) they can then 
be assigned to Zones on the 4100ES-S1. This is done by adding the device to preset Lists as follows:
