2.6 ELECTRICAL
CONNECTION
The boiler is supplied with an electric
cable. Should this require replacement,
it must be purchased exclusively from
HUNT HEATING.
The electric power supply to the boiler
must be 230V - 50Hz single-phase throu-
gh a 3 A fused main switch, with at least
3 mm spacing between contacts.
Respect the L and N polarities and the
earth connection.
NOTE: SIME declines all responsibility
for injury or damage to persons, ani-
mals or property, resulting from the
failure to provide for proper earthing of
the appliance.
2.6.1 Room thermostat
and /or timer (clean contact)
The heating demand can be controlled
by a thermostat and /or timer(TA) con-
nected to CN6 terminals 7-8 ( see fig11)
after having removed the existing bridge.
the control being used must be of a class
conforming to the standard EN 607301
(clean electrical contact).
2.6.2 Climatic regulator CR 53
connection (optional)
The boiler is designed for use with a
climatic regulator, supplied on request
(code 8092227), for the management of
a heating circuit. For installation and
use of the climatic regulator, follow the
instructions included in the packaging.
NOTE: Reset parameter 10 to 2 (PAR 10
= 2).
2.6.3 Remote control CR 73
connection (optional)
The boiler is designed for connection to a
remote control unit, supplied on request
(code 8092226). The remote control unit
CR 73 allows for complete remote con-
trol of the boiler, except lockout reset of
the boiler. The boiler display will show
the following message:
For installation and use of the remote
control, follow the instructions in the
package.
NOTE: Ensure PAR 10 set to 1 (PAR 10
= 1).
2.6.4 External sensor connection
The boiler is designed for connection to
an external temperature sensor, sup-
plied on request (code 8094101), which
can automatically regulate the tempe-
rature value of the boiler output accor-
ding to the external temperature. For
installation, follow the instruction in the
package. It is possible to make correc-
tions to the values read by the drill acting
on the
PAR 11 .
2.6.5 Heat Demand by 230 V
The heating demand can be controlled by
230 V applied to terminal 14 on CN7, and
removal of the bridge on CN6 terminals
7 & 8.
2.6.6 BMS
(Building
Management
Systems)
Single or cascade boilers can be integra-
ted into a building management system.
The BMS signal should be connected to
the single, or master boiler as shown
in fig10.
Set PAR 14 according to the maximum(10
V) flow temperature required.
