90 Day Limited Warranty

Sima Products Corporation, (“Sima”) warrants that if the accompanying product proves to be defective to the original purchaser in material
or workmanship within 90 days from the original retail purchase, the Company will, at the its option, either repair or replace same without
charge (but no cash refund will be made).

What you must do to enforce Warranty
You must deliver, mail or ship the product, together with the original bill of sale, this limited Warranty statement as proof of warranty
coverage to:

It is recommended that you call Sima Products Corporation at 800-345-7462 before sending the unit in for service.

Limitation of Liability and Remedies

This warranty is void if any defects are caused by abuse, misuse, negligence or unauthorized repairs. All liability for incidental or
consequential damages is specifically excluded. The Company shall have no liability for any damages due to lost profits, loss of use or
anticipated benefits, or other incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, this
product, whether arising out of contract, negligence, tort or under any warranty, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of
such damages. The Company’s liability for damages in no event shall exceed the amount paid for this product. The Company neither
assumes nor authorizes anyone to assume for it any other liabilities.
Some states do not allow for the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not

apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Troubleshooting

The video system of the recording device must match the video system
selected by the PAL/NTSC switch on the unit. For example, you cannot
record in PAL on an NTSC recorder.

Connections

1.  Attach the correct AC plug to the AC

adapter.

2.  Plug the AC adapter into wall outlet and plug

12V DC adapter cord into PAL-83

3. Connect the Video output of the PAL-83 to

the video input of your NTSC or PAL video
recorder or TV.

4. Connect the video output of the NTSC or

PAL source of your choice to the video input
of the PAL-83.

5.  Set the PAL/NTSC switch to match the

system type of the video recorder or TV to
the output type of the PAL-83.

: NTSC = USA, PAL = Europe.

Video input is automatically detected by the PAL-83
