C. MEASUREMENTS
1. Circuit Power Check
This measurement is performed under energy.
The indicator should show 220V at the AC voltage level
of the multimeter (Range: Auto or Range: 100) when the
positive and negative probes (the pole is irrelevant) are
in contact with the input terminal of the circuit when the
product has energy.
2. Short Circuit Test for the Power Cord
This measurement is not performed under energy.
Switch the multimeter to the short circuit test mode.
Contact one of the probes (the pole is irrelevant) to the
probe of the male socket and the other one to the cord
terminal. A continuous audible signal shall be issued
from the multimeter and a fixed value shall be displayed
on the screen in this condition. Otherwise, the cord is
damaged.
