How does Cat & Dog Free 200
™
work?
Cat & Dog Free 200
™
uses a high-tech high-frequency
sonic pattern to effectively repel cats and dogs from your garden. It is controlled by means of a motion
sensor. When there is any motion in the area being monitored, the repeller emits high-frequency
sound that cats and dogs find annoying. This method of repelling the animals makes them change
their movement patterns and look for other areas to frequent. The high-frequency sound is completely
harmless to animals and humans.
What area does Cat & Dog Free 200
™
cover?
A motion sensor detects movement up to
12 metres in front of the repeller and starts it up automatically.
Where should Cat & Dog Free 200
™
be positioned?
Using the accompanying pole, place it in
the ground in the most open position possible, pointing towards where you think the animals are. For
full effect, Cat & Dog Free 200
™
should be moved occasionally, which creates a surprise effect for the
intruder. NB! Never point the repeller at a neighbouring property. See more detailed information in a
later section.
How should Cat & Dog Free 200
™
be installed?
It is accompanied by a pole for fixing in the
ground.
How do I put the batteries in?
Unscrew the cover on the rear of the repeller and insert four LR6
batteries (not included).
How often should I check the batteries?
Batteries normally last at least two months, but you
should check their condition every now and then. The easiest way to do this is to put your hand in
front of the sensor – the red LED should light up.
How can I see that Cat & Dog Free 200
™
is working?
When you put the batteries in your
Cat & Dog Free 200
™
, the red LED shines for about 20 seconds. During this time the detector is
checked and activated. When the red LED goes off, the repeller is ready. When the sensor reacts to a
movement, sound is emitted and the red LED comes on. This happens while the repeller is detecting
movement. The sound and the red LED stop/switch off approximately three seconds after the detector
has stopped reacting to a movement.
When will I see results?
The reaction from animals is immediate. But it can take around two weeks
before you notice a change in their behaviour. In some cases, you may have to wait longer. During this
time it is a good idea to move Cat & Dog Free 200
™
to increase the element of surprise.
Is Cat & Dog Free 200
™
harmful to animals?
The high-frequency sound that scares them is
completely harmless to them.
Is the human ear disturbed by the sound from Cat & Dog Free 200
™
?
Some people may be
particularly sensitive to high-frequency sound. If this is found to be disturbing, change the direction Cat
& Dog Free 200™ is facing. NB! Never point the repeller at a neighbouring property.
Are other animals affected by Cat & Dog Free 200
™
?
There may some effect on other animals.

Cat & Dog Free 200
™
, please read the following
instructions carefully:
• Never point the device at neighbouring gardens or public spaces. The repeller is only intended for
use within your own garden, to keep visiting cats and dogs away.
• The sound can, in some cases, be heard by humans. If it is perceived as annoying, we recommend
moving the repeller to a different position.
• There may some effect on other animals. If there are other pets in the garden, we recommend that
you test their reaction to the repeller before you start using it.
• This device can withstand rain and snow but must never be immersed in water.
• The range indicated for motion sensor coverage is for reference only. Weather conditions and
obstacles, etc, can affect the range covered.
• Avoid exposing the motion sensor to direct sunlight, as this will reduce its service life.
