Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
box.

Remove all packaging material.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The pack-
aging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the original appliance packaging for the entire duration
of the warranty period so that the appliance can be packed properly for
return shipment in the event of a warranty claim.
Before first use
■ Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning and care".
Heating food
1) Place the food heater on an even surface near a power socket.
2) Fold both catch flaps upward so you can remove the lid from the
food heater .
3) Fill the food heater with the desired food. If you wish to heat different
types of food at the same time, place the food separator in the food
heater first.
4) Place the lid on the food heater and lock both catch flaps until
they click into place.
NOTE
► You can also store the appliance with food inside in the refrigerator.
5) Connect the power cable to the power cable socket .
6) Insert the plug into a mains socket. The operating light illuminates.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
► The appliance can become hot during use. Hot steam may also exit the
steam vent
