Safety instructions
Danger!
• Ensure that no liquids permeate into the scale, the display or the speaker. There is
a risk of receiving an electric shock!
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how
to use the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not
be carried out by children unless they are supervised.
Warning!
• Do not place the scale in the immediate vicinity of sources of heat. The scale and
the display may only be operated at temperatures between 10° and 40°C.
Higher or lower temperatures can lead to malfunctions or to permanent damage.
• Never burden these bathroom scales with a weight of more than 180 kg /
396 lb! This could irreparably damage the scales.
Information regarding the handling of batteries
This appliance uses batteries. For your interaction with batteries, please take note
of the following:

Do not throw batteries into a fire. Do not recharge the batteries.
