Handling and use

This section provides you with important information on handling and using the
appliance.

Switching the appliance on/oﬀ

♦

Press the

STAND-BY

button

to turn on the appliance.

You will hear a beep, and the

OPERATION

LED

lights up continu-

ously.

♦

Press the

STAND-BY

button

to turn oﬀ the appliance.

You will hear a beep, and the

OPERATION

LED

starts ﬂashing.

NOTE

►

The appliance always starts up with the last-selected setting.

►

If the appliance shuts down due to a power failure, it will automatically
restart with the last–selected setting when power is restored.

♦

If a timer has been programmed, the appliance switches oﬀ permanently
after the speciﬁed time has elapsed (1–24 hours).

♦

If the relative humidity value has been set in the

TARGET HUMIDITY

program, the appliance switches oﬀ as soon as the value is reached. If the
value is exceeded, the appliance switches back on again.

♦

When the water tank

is full or removed, dehumidiﬁcation stops. The fan

continues to run for approx. 3 minutes and then switches oﬀ. If the water
tank

has been removed or is not correctly inserted, the

TANK FULL

LED

lights up. If switched on, the appliance will also beep for approx.

20 seconds.

NOTE

►

The water tank

must be completely inserted into the appliance, other-

wise the condensation water cannot be properly collected.

Air outlet valve

On the top of the appliance there is an adjustable
ﬂap

on the air outlet, which you must open during

operation. You can adjust the ﬂap

to diﬀerent angles

and thus determine the direction of the air ﬂow. This can
be helpful if you are using the appliance to dry
washing, for example. In this way, you can direct the air
ﬂow towards the wet laundry.
