Take note of the correct
polarity of the batteries.
Batteries
Open the battery compartment on the
rear side of the device and insert six
batteries of type C 1.5V according to
the markings in the battery compart-
ment.
The use of rechargable batteries is possi-
ble. However, these will not be rechar-
ged in the battery compartment.
Note:
Used batteries may not be
disposed of in household waste.
Return them to your retailer or to an
appropriate collection site for dispo-
sal. Remove all batteries from the
battery compartment if you are not
planning to use the device for a lon-
ger period. The device can be irre-
parably damaged by leaking battery
acids.
Note:
The DAB radio also uses power
when in Standby-Mode. Therefore
remove all batteries from the bat-
tery compartment if you are not
using the device for a longer period.
The radio station memory will then
be lost.
Note:
To help preserve the batteries,
in Standby Mode the display is not
illuminated and the time is not
shown.
