Setup Menu

The camcorder features a setup menu that allows you to customise
the basic properties of your camcorder.

1. Power the camcorder on. To do this, press the On/Off button

(9).

2. Press the Delete (DEL) button (8) and the Mode selector

(MODE) (5) simultaneously to open the setup menu.

3. Press the

direction buttons (4) to select a setting.

4. Press the

direction buttons (4) to select an option.

5. When ready, press the Delete (DEL) button (8) and the Mode

selector (MODE) (5) simultaneously to exit the setup menu. Any
changes will be saved automatically.

In the following we describe the available options:

Power-On Sound

Here you can enable or disable the power-on sound and adjust its
volume.

TV Standard

Choose between the TV systems PAL or NTSC. NTSC is the
colour system used in America and Japan, PAL is used in Europe.
This setting only applies when playing back using the video cable.
