Stopping ice production
♦
Press the On/Off button to stop ice production . The symbol stops .
♦
To completely switch off the appliance, disconnect it from the mains power
supply .
NOTE
► Ice cubes may remain in the appliance . When these melt, the water runs
back into the water tank .
WARNING
► Empty the water tank after every ice cube production cycle . If the water
remains in the water tank for long periods, bacteria can start to form!
♦
To drain water from the water tank, hold a container which is large enough
to hold the expected amount of water under the drain opening at the
back of the appliance and twist off the cap .
♦
Once the water has drained out, screw the cap hand tight back onto the
drain opening . A second cap is included as a replacement .
Cleaning and maintenance
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains
power socket! Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock!
► Never open any parts of the housing . There are no serviceable parts
whatsoever inside . When the housing is open, there is a risk of a potentially
fatal electrical shock .
CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents . These can attack the
surface and damage the appliance beyond repair .

Empty the water tank after every ice cube production cycle . Otherwise,
bacteria can start to form!
♦
Wipe off the housing and the mains cable with a damp cloth . For more
stubborn dirt, add some mild detergent to the cloth . Afterwards, wipe clean
with a cloth moistened only with water to ensure that no detergent remains .
Make sure that the appliance and the mains cable are completely dry
on the outside before the next use .
