– Screw a long screw into each hole.
Allow the head of the screw to
protrude slightly so that the appliance
can be hung on these.
4. Hang the appliance on the screws.
5. Mark the drill hole for screwing the
fastening bracket.
6. Take the appliance off the wall and drill
the corresponding hole:
– Using a 8 mm bit, drill a hole to fit the
wall plug.
– Insert a wall plug.
7. Hang the appliance again on the
screws.
8. Screw the fastening bracket securely to
the wall using a long screw.
6. Operation
Notes:
• As the appliance and heating coils are
supplied with a thin film of grease, there
might be a
small
amount of smoke and
odour the first time the appliance is
used. This is not harmful and will stop
after a short time. Ensure adequate
ventilation during this process.
• If you have plugged other power
consumers into the same circuit, check
that the maximum load for the installed
fuse is not exceeded, as otherwise the
fuse will trip.
6.1 Turning the appliance on and off
1. Plug the mains plug into a power supply
socket which meets the technical data
requirements (see “3. Technical data”
on page 4).
2. Switch the appliance on using the main
switch

The appliance is now ready to use.
3. After use switch the appliance off at the
main switch

and unplug. This is the
only way to ensure that the appliance is
completely de-energized.
6.2 Adjusting the heating setting
The heating settings are used to select how
quickly the appliance heats up.
The appliance has three heating settings:
– Level 1: 500 watts: Press switch

– Level 2: 1,000 watts: Press switch

– Level 3: 1,500 watts: Press switches

If you want the appliance to heat up particu-
larly quickly, select level 3. If you only want
it to heat up slowly, select level 1.
