Either 6.1, feed the head support strap through the
shoulder strap of the sling.
Then loop the head support strap back through the
plastic slider correctly. Adjust the head support to suit
patient’s needs by adjusting the amount of strap passed
through the slider.
When attaching hip tapes, the ideal pick up should
enable the pelvic area and the legs to pick-up
simultaneously.
Adjustment can be made by using the color coded
connections to enable the best pick-up.
Or 6.2, attach head support strap directly to the lift
spreader bar.
Then loop the head support strap back through the
plastic slider correctly. Adjust the head support to
suit patient’s needs by adjusting the amount of strap
passed through the slider.
Ensure that all straps are not twisted and are attached
securely before commencing the transfer.
