The Copy by Data Card function is used to cut a key using the “original” parameters memorized by
Silca or the operator (USER data card and CODEMAKER data card).
Part of the mach ine memory is u sed for
storing data cards.
A da ta card is a da tabase of “Spaces”,
“Depths”, “Cutting angles” and “Flares” for
all the keys taken into con sideration by
Silca.

From the initial screen press F2 to use the function and then:
• Key
F1
to access the SILCA and USER data cards.
• Key
F2
to access the CODEMAKER data cards.
• SILCA data cards
References to “SILCA data cards” are found in:
- Silca paper catalogues
- Silca electronic catalogue
- Silca Key Programs
SILCA data cards can be edited for certain
parameters only. Variations CANNOT BE
SAVED in the machine memory.
The number of SILCA data cards increases
periodically, with “Silca Code Program”
updates that the user can purchase
separately. Through the Silca Code Program
the user can update the program and the on-
board machine data.
• USER data cards
This is a data card customized by the user with
Silca Ke y Prog rams on a PC an d sent to the
machine. It may be:
- created by the SKP Code Maker
- a Silca SKP data card with certain parame-
ters edited.
USER data cards can be edited for certain
parameters only. Variations CAN BE
SAVED in the machine memory.
• Press F3 to view the list of USER data cards.
