Disposal
The wire-actuated encoder's and rotary encoder's electronic compo-
nents contain materials that are harmful to the environment and are carri-
ers of recyclable materials at the same time. Therefore, the wire-actuated
encoder or the rotary encoder must be recycled after it has been taken out
of operation ultimately. Observe the environment protection guidelines of
your country.

A wire extension does not extend the measuring range (see Fig. 12 ).
