Display String Mode 

In the 

alphanumeric display

 mode, this parameter selects the data source for the display. 

The Display String Mode = 1 is set to display Display String1 and Display String2. This is only 
possible when the data type ASCII is active; for this purpose, Bit7 = 1 or Bit8 = 1 must be set 
in the control word. As a result, it is possible to display 6 ASCII characters per line. 
Otherwise, the Target Value process data and Display Data are displayed.
