Remedy
No display despite sufficient
lighting and connected power
supply.
The SolarTemp 850 / 851 is in an
undefined state.
Cover the solar cell with a
light-proof material for 5 min.
Disconnect the
SolarTemp 850 / 851 from the
current signal or the supply
voltage.
Error message on digital dis-
play:
ERR

The temperature range was
under- / overshot.

Short-circuit of sensor.
-
The measuring input is defective.
Observe the temperature
range.
Check sensor or connection
cable and replace defective
components.
Contact SIKA (Service re-
quired).
Error message on digital dis-

The sensor or connection cable is
defective.
Check sensor or connection
cable and replace defective
components.
Error message on digital

The illuminance is too low for a
correct reading

The current signal or the supply
voltage are not connected
(SolarTemp 851).
SolarTemp 850:
Increase the illuminance or
change the mounting location.
SolarTemp 851:
Increase the illuminance or
change the mounting location
and check that the power sig-
nal or supply voltage is con-
nected.
