LOADING INSTRUCTIONS
The D0-3D, the DF-10D, and the DD-1A
dispensers are designed to accept coils of
Contrax, Tenax, and Dymax strap, 7/16" and
1/2" in width. The face of each coil of
Contrax and Tenax is protected with a
corrugated belly-band and wrapped in plastic
shrink film. The inner circle of perforated
film should be removed before installing the
coil on a dispenser. Each coil of Dymax is
protected from the environment by a plastic
bag and packaged in a sealed carton. The
wraps of Dymax are secured with three
equally spaced ties.
D0-3D DISPENSER
To load a coil of strap in the D0-3D
dispenser, follow the steps below:
1. The D0-3D dispenser is designed to
attach to a suspension bracket and mount
in an overhead location. Signode offers
suspension brackets; CB9 (002816), CB-X
(available on special order only), and the
WB (002817). Contact your Signode
Representative for assistance in choosing
the correct bracket for your application.

2. Carefully lower the D0-3D and place it
flat upon a firm surface, hub nut (12) up.
3. Turn the hub nut counterclockwise and
remove it from the dispenser.
4. Remove the paper core and any plastic
shrink film residue.

5. Position the coil of strap so that the lead
end of the strap points to the right.
Pay-off rotation will be in the clockwise
direction.
6. Mount the coil on the rear disc assembly
(15). If installing a coil of Dymax, turn
the coil so that the retaining ties are
above the.three indentations. This will
facilitate tie removal.
7. Reinstall the front disc assembly (17),
orient the indentations above the
retaining ties and snug the hub nut (12).
8. Pull the plastic film from the coil,
remove the corrugated belly-band and
peel off the tape that secures the lead
end. If loading a coil of Dymax, cut and
remove the retaining ties.
