Water Connection

CAUTION

• Connect the appliance to potable water only.
• A cold water connection is required for operation of the automatic ice maker. The water pressure

must be between 20 and 120 psi. (138 - 827 kPa).

• The installation must comply with local plumbing regulations.
• A separate shut-off valve must be installed for the appliance water connection.
• Do not use a self-piercing valve.
• Do not install the shutoff valve for the water behind the appliance. The shutoff valve must be eas-

ily accessible.

• Install the water connection in the area shown in the diagram under Dimensions and Clearances.

The water supply line can be located on the right side, on the left side, or in the floor. The maxi-

mum outer diameter of the supply line (without fittings) is 3/8" (9.5 mm).
