Filling
of
the
collector(s)
with
water
and
antifreeze
shall
be
done
in
the
morning
or
in
the
afternoon
during
summer
months,
in
order
to
avoid
forming
of
air
bubbles
due
to
overheating,
thus
causing
air
trapping,
because
then
the
system
would
not
be
properly
ventilated
and
it
is
possible
to
retain
which
would
reduce
performance.
Filling
up
of
the
collector(s)
is
to
be
done
with
low
flow,
to
let
liquid
to
come
out
from
the
opposite
copper
pipe
for
better
ventilation.
The
filling
with
antifreeze
is
to
be
done
according
to
the
instructions
of
the
antifreeze
(see
table)
i.e.
according
to
the
exterior
temperature

under
which
the
system
is
functioning.
8.VENTILATION
Special
attention
is
needed
to
provide
adequate
ventilation
for
the
collector(s)
so
the
system
runs
without
problems.
Let
the
hot
water
‐
liquid
to
flow
from
the
opposite
site
of
the
filling.
Do
not
fill
the
system
when
the
collector
has
been
exposed
to
sun
for
more
than
15
min
in
summer
months
and
more
than
30
min
in
other
cases,
because
overheating
would
cause
the
formation
of
bubbles
in
the
collector’s
loop
resulting
in
malfunctioning.

STORAGE
TANK
ELECTRICAL
CONNECTION
For
hot
water
during
cloudy
days
,
there
is
the
storage
tank
electric
resistance
as
a
backup
.
