Maintenance and Calibration
•
The recommended calibration interval of the C22 is 12 months. If a
unit is mounted long term, it is acceptable to increase the interval to
24 months. Local measurement standards, rules and regulations may
state another calibration interval.
•
The C22 is a precision instrument, thus sensitive to shock. If dropped
on a hard surface it must be recalibrated.
•
Firmware update is done remotely via INFRA Net.
•
To keep the C22 dry and protect the electronics from corrosion,
check/replace the desiccant bag in its compartment regularly. It is
recommended to check once per year and change every two years. If
suspicion of any moisture inside the enclosure, find the cause, dry it
out and replace the desiccant bag. If sent to repair after damage from
moisture, please remove both main batteries and the backup battery
to minimize damage.
•
If the backup battery drops below 2.6 V, a warning message will be
communicated. For replacement of the backup battery, send the
instrument to Sigicom.
•
If repair is required, please contact Sigicom prior to sending the
instrument in for repair.
