5.
Operation
5.1.
Startup
To turn the C22 on, press
. The display is lit up and the unit is ready
for use. See section 2.2 for a description of start-up sequence. If the
access code is activated, see section 5.9 for more information.
The following options are available:
•
Start monitoring as described in section 5.2.
•
Initiate a manual communication to INFRA Net,
see section 5.4.2.
•
Open the GUI menu, see section 5.8.
Instrument errors, if present, will be indicated at bottom right on the main
screen and should be addressed prior to monitoring. See section 9.
If last known monitoring mode was ON, the C22 will automatically
restart monitoring after instrument start-up.
5.2.
Start Monitoring

. The display will indicate the mode
transition and its steps:
1.
First a sensor test will be done (see 5.2.1). This takes a few
seconds, and the monitoring symbol is yellow during this phase.
2.
Monitoring is started, indicated with a flashing green or red
circle. If the color of the circle flashes green everything is OK; if
it flashes red either Sensor test failed, or the alignment of the
sensor is not horizontal enough.
After transition into monitoring mode, the instrument will communicate
to INFRA Net and transmit its status.
